Terry Fox Run
Big thanks to members of the Markham Stouffville Cruisers for showing up in numbers at the Stouffville Terry Fox Run - in spite of a damp and
dreary day. We had many comments about the beautiful cars from the crowd of almost 1,000. The event raised more than $60,000 for cancer research - thanks to more than 700 donors.
Thank you, Cruisers, for being such a community-minded organization. You are everywhere! And if it's not too early, please save the date for next year's run: Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023

On behalf of Markham Missionary Church we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Markham Stouffville Cruisers. To all the car owners from the club who took precious time off to be there for us. THANK YOU! You made our day. We were so excited to see those beautiful machines driving up our Church driveway. The Lord provided us with a beautiful Saturday. September 17th 2022 will remain in our memories as a day where the Markham Stouffville Communities came together to enjoy food and fellowship. A special thanks also goes out to Fraser Lucy (President) and Claude Mainville (Director) for your direct involvement to get it all organized. We are looking forward to having you all over again next year! Thank you again!

Whitchurch Stouffville Food Bank
The Whitchurch Stouffville Food Bank Board, volunteers and clients would like to thank the MS Cruisers for their continued support. We are appreciative of all your club does, not only for us, but for the entire community. Your support will be put to good use to help us address food insecurity in our community.
ALL volunteers of the food bank (including operational managers and Board members) work without any remuneration. We work only to serve the community. A majority of donated money goes towards the purchase of fresh and non-perishable food from local vendors. We have limited warehouse space so we buy food each week, as needed. This drastically cuts warehousing costs, reduces spoilage and gives us an ability to source "sale" items. In addition, there are many other costs associated with the operation of a warehouse facility - rent, hydro, cleaning supplies, insurance, storage bins, etc. All these items require funding to secure and maintain. Donated funds are critical to our operation.
