Meet Gary Kirwin and his 1932 Ford Coupe
Gary Kirwin is the past president of the Ford V8 club and has been a member of the Markham Stouffville Cruisers for 4 years. Gary also owns another 1932 Ford 2-door deuce which was a featured car a few years ago. Gary’s granddaughter, Paisley is proudly posing with her granddad’s car. She has been a frequent flyer at our Wednesday night cruise-ins with her granddad. She loves the car and enjoys hanging out with her granddad in the garage while he tinkers on his cars. Cute as a button and as precocious as can be, perhaps Paisley will become a future MS Cruiser! Here’s Gary’s story:
I purchased my 1932 Ford 5 window Coupe in Scarborough in 1976. Since then it has been modified many times and recently a full rebuild, featuring a new American Stamping Chassis, boxing plates, front cross member, 4 inch dropped Super Bell Axle disc brakes, a Posie Super Slide front spring, 4 new steel fenders from Brookville Roadster, rewire kit from Haywire, power from a 302 Ford, EDELBROCK intake and carburetor, and a world class t5, also a Walker Rad and a cooling components 16 inch fan, BFG tires, tinted glass, and aluminum windshield frame from Barry Lobecks THE V8 SHOP. Also, Julianos soft top insert, BASF paint UNO high definition app 4 coats of colour. A new hood is coming soon, and a lot more work to follow.
